Dear TCDSB community,
This weekend’s significant snowfall has kept our Environmental Support Services Management team and snowplow contractors busy as they worked through the weekend to clear parking lots, sidewalks, and bus drop-off areas to ensure our schools are ready for tomorrow morning (February 18, 2025). While we are making every effort to complete snowplowing, we appreciate your patience and understanding.
The City prioritizes snow removal from major roads, transit routes, and school areas; however, full clean-up efforts may take several days. With an additional 4-8 cm of snowfall expected early Tuesday morning, we anticipate school bus delays tomorrow (February 18, 2025). We encourage parents/guardians to bundle up their children and where possible, wait with them at bus stops until the bus arrives, as the temperature in the morning is expected to drop below -20°C.
