Liturgical Season
Celebrating Advent and Christmas
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to you.
Advent is celebrated on four consecutive Sundays, beginning on the Sunday closest to November 30 and ending on December 24, Christmas Eve.
As we enter the season of Advent, we must remember that it is the witness of God’s love for each other that gives true meaning to Christian charity. You are encouraged to reach out to your parish and others in your community, and explore ways that you can spread the spirit of Advent/Christmas to everyone.
Share your acts of kindness, big and small, on social media using the hashtag #TCDSBGives.
To assist you in the celebration of Advent, you are invited to subscribe to free daily Gospel Reflections by Bishop Robert Barron.
