Student Success

The Student Success Initiative is designed to encourage each and every student to achieve their full potential. The principles of Student Success focus on:

  • The success of all students academically.

  • Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where students can feel is valued and respected, and the opportunity to form connections with caring adults.

The Student Success Team is a dedicated team of a principal, student success teacher, a guidance counsellor and a special education teacher provides extra attention and support for individual students who need it.

Students that benefit from this program are those who are struggling, who need extra attention to help them graduate or who are looking for new challenges in high school. Together with the student, we will help tailor the learning environment for each individual student to optimize their chance at academic success.
