Science is a quest for knowledge about nature - a search to understand the cause and effect relationships around the structure and behaviour of natural phenomena. It involves questions, discoveries, interpretations, technological applications, and societal implications.
Seen as a continuum, the aim of the Science curriculum is to provide the students with the attitudes, skills and knowledge necessary to encourage an understanding of the nature of Science, the achievement of scientific literacy, the development of problem-solving skills and an appreciation for the technological and societal applications, and implications of scientific knowledge.
