The second shows a white dress on which is written messages in red for the missing women, along with an easel nearby showing a collage of process pictures of the installation. National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Two-Spirit People

May 5 is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S) in Canada.

On this day, the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) honours and remembers all missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people.

Also known as Red Dress Day, we wear red to draw attention to the missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people and as a call for all Canadians to remember and to take action.
