Tamil Canadian Heritage Month

January is Tamil Canadian Heritage Month. It is an occasion to recognize and celebrate the many achievements and contributions of Tamil Canadians to Canada and an occasion to acknowledge and enjoy​ the narratives and wisdom of the Tamil culture.

Tamil Canadian Heritage Month - Celebrating Roots - Representation of our Tamil Students - Tamil Vibes, Celebrating Tamil Arts and Honouring Tamil Artists - Grades 5-12 students of Tamil heritage are invited to participate during the 2025 Tamil Canadian Students Symposium and Cultural Celebration. Workshop, keynote speaker, Liturgy of the Word and performances will be part of the celebration! - When: Wednesday, January 15, 2025 - Time: 10 AM to 2 PM - Where: St. John Paul II - 685 Military Trail, Scarborough, ON, M1E 4P6 - Registration is now open (TCDSB Login Required) - The deadline to register is Friday, December 20, 2024 via QR code.
