The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) believes in the critical role that our schools play in promoting environmental responsibility and in providing leadership and direction for the protection and conservation of the environment.
Learn more about some of our programs and services:
The TCDSB can offer students unique opportunities to learn about their ecological footprint and the ways they can reduce their impact on the Earth.
We have an annual water sampling and testing program, which has been in place since 1989, to test for lead in drinking water in schools and offices.
Optimizing air quality in schools and learning environments through improving ventilation and/or filtration is a key element in the multiple protective strategies to support healthy and safe learning environments for staff and students.
We have various cooling strategies to address the comfort of students and staff during hot weather.
We are here to help and to answer any questions you might have.
