The second annual Endgame Dance Competition was hosted at St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School on May 7, 2024 (Tuesday), welcoming over 600 attendees including 150 dancers from 12 Dance Teams in the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB). This competition showcased the incredible student talent throughout the TCDSB, as West and East schools went head-to-head in a dance battle. The night included good luck videos by several well-known Canadian dancers including Blake McGrath, Milaina Chanel, Anoshinie, Reequal Smith, & Madison Parkinson. As well as a halftime performances by the dance studio GottaDance, Certificates of Excellence recognizing 1 student per team, and a dance battle with the winner receiving a scholarship from DanceLifeX.
Endgame Dance Competition saw Madonna, Bishop Marrocco, and Dante placing Top 3 for the West, and St. Patrick, Senator O’Connor and Notre Dame placing Top 3 for the East. All 6 teams will meet again on June 4, 2024 (Tuesday) for the Finals hosted at Dante. The event was adjudicated by Nicolette Coppola (Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre, National Ballet of Canada), Jordan Francis (Camp Rock) and Madison Costa (Team Canada, the Dance Zone).
