Parents and guardians play a significant role in ensuring the success of our students.
Our Catholic School Parent Council (CSPC) provides a forum for families to understand, engage and support issues that affect the education of our students. Our CSPC members include parents/guardians, school administration team members and community representatives.
The provincial mandate for school councils (Reg. 612) states: The purpose of school council is, through the active participation of parents, to improve student achievement and enhance the accountability of the education system to parents. A school council’s primary means of achieving its purpose is by making recommendations in accordance with this regulation to the principal of the school and the board that established the council.
We meet monthly at the school and help with communication between parents and the school.
We discuss fundraising ideas and the disbursement of funds that have been raised for the enriched learning experience of the students at St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School.
If you want to get involved and stay in touch, just provide any CSPC member with your email, or email cspc.stpatrick@tcdsb.org with your email address and we will add to our regular email list.
We meet once every month at 6:30 PM.
For archived agendas and minutes, contact the parent council or school principal.
