St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School Business Studies Department endeavours to prepare emerging leaders for those who wish to move on with a strong foundation to further study and training in specialized areas for careers in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Management, Marketing, International Business and Finance.
We also provide practical skills for those who wish to move directly into the world of business.
The design of the Business Studies program will enable students to select courses that relate to their interests and that prepare them for further study or work in a field of their choosing.

Whether students eventually work in the business world or simply use the services of business, the Business Studies program will provide them with a foundation for making effective choices and decisions.
With our fully upgraded Business Studies computer labs and business classrooms including wireless access and data projectors, our experiential courses prepare students for the business world. Students taking business courses will learn and develop the skills they need to maximize their opportunities in the 21st Century.

Financial Accounting Principles (Grade 12)
In addition, class excursions as well as guest speakers are regularly invited to the classroom to share their experiences and career paths.
Students actively initiate, develop, prepare and execute business fundraising ventures.
Our students are awarded the Business Achievement Certificate upon successful completion of five business courses. Congratulations to all who have achieved this award!
