We offer Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) Programs in:

  • Health and Wellness

  • Non-Profit, Education and Child Care

  • Tech Design/Construction

Certifications include CPR/First Aid, WHMIS, Conflict Resolution, Team Building, Public Speaking, Leadership, Fall Protection, Health and Safety and more.

  • Take courses in your area of interest, making connections between course work and career goals.

  • Complete on the job training through a co-op placement.

  • Gain sector-recognized certification and career-relevant training.

  • Attend workshops and hear from career mentors.

  • Access opportunities for SHSM Financial Awards at select universities and colleges.

  • Develop a portfolio which can be used when applying to apprenticeship, college, university and workplace opportunities.

  • Tour workplaces, university and college campuses.
