Counselling services play a central role in assisting students with the selection of school programs, so that courses are chosen wisely in order that post-secondary educational and career possibilities remain open.
Counsellors provide assistance to the students in four areas:
Academic
Career
Personal
Social
Students are requested to make appointments with their counsellor whenever they feel the need to discuss academic situations or concerns of a more personal nature.
Appointments may be obtained from the Guidance office. Counsellors welcome interviews with parents. Available to all students are referrals to support staff and community agencies when deemed necessary.
