STEAM Program
STEAM Education is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. The goal of STEAM Education is to prepare students for post-secondary study and the 21st century workforce.
The STEAM pathway at Madonna Catholic Secondary School is open to all interested students and provides an opportunity to customize their secondary school education to suit their interests and talents through a specialized course pathway. Graduating students will receive a Certificate of Distinction upon successful completion of the STEAM program, providing rich learning experiences to highlight on resumes and post-secondary applications.
Grade 9 students will have the opportunity to register for STEAM in September.
