This past Friday, a dedicated group of Loretto College students took part in the Development and Peace THINKFast, a 12-hour fast held in solidarity with those facing global inequalities.
Throughout the afternoon and evening, students engaged in reflective activities, including journaling, prayer, and a screening of The True Cost. They also created art and explored issues related to resource distribution and spending.
The event concluded with a shared meal of fresh tomato sauce, pasta, and salad, marking the end of their fast. In addition to raising awareness, the group collected $100 in support of Development and Peace’s Turn Debt Into Hope campaign.
