Under the guidance of Elizabeth Stidham, Loretto College School's A-team creatively and bravely pitched their Believe Initiative idea: "Yes, Girls Do" in front of the Angel Foundation for Learning (AFL) and a panel of judges this past Friday. The idea they pitched was to host a day of workshops to empower and educate young women in the spirit of Mary Ward.
As a result of their fast thinking, incorporation of feedback, and fearless speaking from the heart, they were awarded a total of $2500 to put towards their project, finishing in second place overall!
The Yes, Girls Do event will be held at Loretto College on May 24, 2025 (Saturday).
