Grade 9 Geography students at Loretto College recently explored the vibrant Wellington and Spadina neighbourhood, taking full advantage of WalkTO’s resources.

The field trip provided a hands-on opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world applications. Students examined topics like sustainable development and neighbourhood livability while engaging in a mock public meeting. Acting as various stakeholders, they practiced using their voices in the public consultation process.

The day concluded with a visit to The Well, one of Toronto’s most dynamic urban developments, where students explored its services and innovative design.
