Our Equity and Social Justice class had the privilege of attending the 2024 Youth for Others (Y4O) Social Justice Day hosted by Canadian Jesuits International. Held at Loretto College, University of Toronto, the event brought together students from seven schools to explore this year’s theme: forced migration.
Through interactive group projects and activities, students delved into the complexities of forced migration and its global impact. A highlight of the day was hearing from Nazi Sadiqi, a young woman who shared her powerful story of fleeing Afghanistan.
Our students stood out for their enthusiasm, knowledge, and leadership. They confidently shared ideas, engaged in meaningful discussions, and inspired success within their groups.
Congratulations to our Equity and Social Justice class for representing our school with excellence!
