Congratulations to Grade 10 students Sophia S. and Arcangelo O. from Senator O'Connor College School on placing Second and Third respectively in the TRADITIONAL Grades 9-10 category at the Ontario Provincial Finals of the 39th annual Concours d’art oratoire, which was held in early May 2024.
More than 120 students from grades 9-12 representing school boards across the province participated in the prestigious event at York University’s Glendon Campus. This event, recognized as the largest French Public-Speaking event in Canada, witnessed students passionately vying for scholarships and bursaries from universities and colleges.
A special thanks also goes out to the staff and families who were involved in supporting the growth of the French language at the school, ensuring the success of Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) students.
