Music

We offer instrumental music at all grade levels. Students will develop musical literacy skills by using the creative and critical analysis processes in composition, performance, and a range of reflective and analytical activities. Students will develop an understanding of the conventions and elements of music and of safe practices related to music, and will develop a variety of skills transferable to other areas of their life.

  • Grade 9 AMI 1O and/or Grade 10 AMI 2O Instrumental open courses.

  • Grade 11 AMI 3M College/University Instrumental (prerequisites: Grade 9 and/or Grade 10 instrumental).

  • Grade 12 AMI 4M College/University (prerequisite: Grade 11 instrumental).

  • Grade 9 AMK 1O and/or Gr. 10 AMK 2O Keyboarding open courses.

  • Grade 11 AMK 3M College/University Keyboarding (prerequisite: Grade 9 or 10 keyboarding).

  • Grade 12 AMK 4M College/University Keyboarding (prerequisite: Grade 11 keyboarding).

  • AMG 20 Guitar (No prerequisites required)

  • AMG 3M (prerequisite: Grade 10 Guitar)

  • AMG 4M (prerequisite: Grade 11 Guitar)

  • AMV 1O and AMV 2O (No prerequisites required)

  • AMV 3M (Prerequisite Grade 9 and/or Grade 10 vocal)

  • AMV 4M (Prerequisite Grade 11 vocal)
