Marshall McLuhan Catholic Secondary School is celebrating an incredible achievement by Grade 12 student Mikush M.!
Mikush recently traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to try out for an Ultimate Frisbee scholarship at Davenport University. Following two days of intensive training with the team, Mikush was awarded both an athletic and an academic scholarship—a rare honor as he becomes only the third Canadian to receive these prestigious scholarships.
A dedicated athlete, Mikush is also part of the Team Canada U20 practice roster, with aspirations to compete internationally next year. His commitment to the sport and his academic pursuits has earned admiration from his coach, Gareth Cawley, who commended Mikush for his determination and hard work.
Mikush and his mother expressed gratitude for this life-changing opportunity, marking a proud moment for the entire Marshall McLuhan community. Congratulations, Mikush!
