Light at the end of a tunnel

Three Toronto Catholic high school students have been recognized for their outstanding writing in the annual Friars Student Writing Contest, a long-standing partnership between the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement-Graymoor and The Catholic Register. This year’s contest invited students to reflect on the theme of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, inspired by John 11:26 and the 1,700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea.

Congratulations to Philip M. (Fr. John Redmond Catholic Secondary School), Julia C. (Michael Power/St. Joseph High School), and Opeyemi O. (Francis Libermann Catholic High School) for their thoughtful and faith-filled submissions! Read more about their inspiring reflections and what motivated their writing in The Catholic Register.
