On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, St. Mother Teresa Catholic Academy welcomed a special guest as Toronto Raptors forward Chris Boucher surprised the school’s Varsity Girls', Junior Boys', and Senior Boys' basketball teams.
Organized by Vice Principal King with support from Puma, Footlocker, and Chris Boucher himself, the event saw every player and coach gifted brand-new basketball shoes. Adding to the excitement, Boucher, the last remaining player from the Raptors' 2019 Championship team, joined each team for a scrimmage, creating unforgettable moments for the students.
This heartwarming holiday giveback was a slam dunk for the school community, inspiring young athletes and spreading Christmas cheer.
