Today on September 30, 2024 (Monday), the Brebeuf College School community recognized and honoured the survivors of residential schools on National Truth and Reconciliation Day, also known as Orange Shirt Day.

Our students dedicated countless hours to creating a beautiful mural, a powerful visual tribute that represents our commitment to truth, healing, and reconciliation. This initiative was led by our dedicated staff member, Ms. Spina-Femia.

Additionally, special thanks to Mr. Joaquim, whose creative vision brought to life our school’s “moving” shoe display. The display represents the ongoing journey toward truth, reconciliation, and healing. The shoes serve as more than just symbols – they represent the people and their resilience in this important movement.
