We are proud to announce that Grade 11 student Sophia L. was recently invited by The Honourable Edith Dumont, the 30th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, to her residence at Queen’s Park to celebrate the Day of the Francophonie.
During the event, Sophia showcased her talents by performing 15 pieces on the saxophone and reciting her original poem, Mosaique de pensées sur la famille. She also contributed to an insightful analysis of Madelaine avant l’aube by Sandrine Colette, a novel that explores themes of resilience and personal transformation.
Congratulations to Sophia on this remarkable achievement! We look forward to her continued success in the arts and her role as an ambassador for French language and culture.
