On January 14, 2024, Bishop Allen Academy's Emma V. captained the Canadian Under-18 Women's Hockey Team to the Bronze Medal at the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) U18 Women's World Championship in Zug, Switzerland.
This is the second World Championship medal for Emma, having won Gold in 2023. She also won the National Championship with Team Ontario earlier this year.
Emma is the captain of her team at the school, for Team Ontario and for Team Canada! She is headed to the University of Wisconsin in the fall to play Division 1 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Hockey for the Badgers.
