Saint Oscar Romero Catholic Secondary School has been selected as one of only seven schools across Canada to receive a Best Buy Teen Tech Award, earning a $5,000 grant and an Alienware gaming laptop to support its Robotics Team.

This funding will allow the team to upgrade components and enhance the functionality of their robot for upcoming competitions. As a TCDSB-designated STEAM school, Romero offers hands-on learning opportunities in technology fields such as robotics and electric vehicle design.

We are grateful for this generous support from Best Buy, which will help showcase the talents and innovation of our students. Congratulations to all student members and teacher facilitators of Romero's Robotics Team!
