Advanced Placement Program

St. John Henry Newman Catholic High School offers students the Advanced Placement (AP) Program in an enriched environment.

It allows students to pursue subject-specific interests at the university level of study. The program also leads to an opportunity to earn first-year university credits for each successfully written AP exam. AP credits are recognized by all Canadian universities and by post-secondary institutions in over 60 countries around the world​.

Statement of Interest

Completed documents must be submitted to Student Services no later than the last week of February.

Students will be asked to confirm their interest in the program once at St. John Henry Newman in Grade 9, and will begin preparing for the full AP program which begins in Grade 10.
