On October 22 and 23, 2022, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) students had a chance to be part of and assist on the feature film Lovely by New Radio Pictures. Alumni Jason Gosbee (Class of 2001) returned to the school to train students in Advanced Filming Procedures. St. Joan of Arc was used as a fictional school for the film and also was transformed into a hospital. Students were given an exceptional opportunity and the school got a chance to support Canadian film making.
