The Specialist High Skills Majors (SHSM) Health and Wellness Program provides students with a pathway opportunity to build a foundation of sector-focused knowledge and skills along with sector-specific certifications and/or training supporting an advantage for students when entering the workforce.

Through the engaging 2-day Standard First Aid, AED/CPR-C, and Infection Control Training, our St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy students learned important life saving skills and gained valuable experience.

With appreciation to the Board SHSM leads and SJOA SHSM Teachers for their support of this valuable experiential student learning opportunity and to our participating students for their enthusiastic participation!
