On March 19, 2025 (Wednesday), close to 70 students from 4 Specialist High Skills Majors (SHSMs)—Arts and Culture, Health and Wellness, Information and Communication Technology and Non Profit,Education—at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy came together in the school library on an enriching journey as they fulfilled their Sector Partnered Experiences (SPE) component requirements.

Through an immersive experiential learning program, students received comprehensive training in Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship (I.C.E), delving into coding and math literacy. Led by Drew Ripley, students were tasked with various challenges from which to choose including learning to code and interface with Microbit controllers, designing a functional robot that solved their challenge.

Congratulations to all participating students, SHSM Teachers, and SHSM Board Resource Teachers for their support!
