On March 6, 2025 (Thursday), St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy took a bite into healthy eating through the Canada-wide annual movement of crunching into healthy fruits and vegetables through The Great Big Crunch to make noise for healthy school food!

Since 2008, Canadians across the country have participated in the Great Big Crunch, an original initiative of FoodShare Toronto, including a toolkit for schools and a focus on federal advocacy.

Through the collaborative efforts of our Student Nutrition Program Volunteer Co-ordinator, Arts Teacher, and enthusiastic student volunteers, it was a time dedicated to celebrating healthy food at school!
