On December 12, 2024 (Thursday), Ms. Quintana’s English as a Second Language (ESL) students, alongside Settlement Worker Ms. Jarece Estiaga, gathered at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy for a festive Christmas celebration. The event featured music, games, food and desserts reflective of the diversity of our community, dancing, and a special visit from Santa Claus, creating a joyful community atmosphere.
This celebration highlighted diversity, culture, and inclusion by bringing students from various backgrounds together to share their traditions and experiences. The event fostered belonging, respect, and appreciation for different cultures, strengthening friendships and understanding.
We are always reminded that though we are many, we are one body in Christ, and each person’s unique gifts contribute to the whole.
