On November 27, 2024 (Wednesday), St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy students attended the TCDSB Career Day at the CEC. The event aimed to expose students to diverse and inclusive career opportunities, with a focus on highlighting underrepresented populations. An inspirational keynote speaker encouraged students to stay focused, work hard, and pursue their dream jobs. Following the keynote, students engaged in breakout sessions tailored to specific career fields, including trades, law, the arts, business, and engineering.
Our students greatly appreciated the opportunity to learn about and explore different careers, and it is hoped that this experience will assist them in their pathways discernment journey!
