On November 11 and 26, St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy hosted our University and College/Apprenticeship/World of Work Fairs, giving students the chance to explore post-secondary paths and career options. The fairs featured colleges, universities, apprenticeship programs, and information on Cooperative Education and Dual Credits. Students from OYAP (Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program) and Healthcare programs also provided insights into their fields. A Toronto Public Health nurse was present to answer health-related questions and discuss nursing programs.
The events were well-attended by Grade 10 to 12 students, offering them a valuable opportunity for career education and discovering new pathways.
Thank you to our Guidance Department for their work in supporting these valuable opportunities for our students!
