St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy student volunteers, along with some parents, volunteered at the Holly Jolly Fun Run in support of the 120th year of the Toronto Santa Claus Parade. The Run is a 5km race that takes place along the parade route prior to the start of the parade. The SJOA student volunteers assisted with marshalling, cheering, bag checking, medal distribution, snack tables, water stations and bringing loads of energy to the event. This year's race had 2000 runners running through the streets of downtown Toronto in festive attire, with hundreds of thousands of spectators cheering them on.
