After dedicated training all season for the Metro Track and Field Championships, the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy Track and Field team had a chance to showcase their talents at the Bill Stephens Stadium in Scarborough.
Just one week after sweeping the medal podium at the Toronto District Catholic Athletic Association (TDCAA) Track and Field Championships, Jonathon M. Joshua A. and Nathaniel M. once again finished first, second and third with respective times of 13.47s, 13.83s and 13.83s.
Also competing for St. Joan of Arc was Chidera Emeka in the Senior girls shot put. Chidera finished in seventh place with a throw of 9.61m.
Jonathon, Joshua and Nathaniel will now advance to the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Championships in London, Ontario on June 6 to 8, 2024.
