On February 28, 2024, thirty-nine students from St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy - from Grades 9, 10 and 11 - participated in the Pascal, Cayley and Fermat Mathematics contests, devised by The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) of the University of Waterloo. As well, on November 15, 2023, four Grade 12 students wrote the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest (CSMC), where Marina Pappas succeeded in becoming the school champion and receiving a medal for her achievement. In addition, twelve Grade 12 students participated in The Euclid Math Contest this month on April 3, 2024.
As a result, the school champions of the mathematics contests in the school year 2023-2024 were announced, and we would like to congratulate them!
