The Grade 9 Mathematics students of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy participated in engaging Centennial College workshops and hands-on activities that inspired, challenged, and empowered them to excel in STEM fields.
In the "Image Classification" workshop, students learned to classify images using machine learning. During the "Gaming" workshop, students were able to craft their very own game in Python, bringing their imagination to life through code.
For the ultimate test of intellect, students challenged themselves in the "Are You Smarter Than Your Math Prof?" workshop, where they went head-to-head against teachers and professors to prove their mathematical prowess. The St. Joan of Arc students returned with memories of a day filled with newfound skills, and a deeper appreciation for STEM learning.
