Appropriate Dress Code Policy
NOTE: Crested items are available, but it is not mandatory for students to wear crested items.

What is not included/What not to wear
No denim/jeans, vinyl material like wind pants.
No tight pants/jeggings.
No clothing with visible labels, contrasting colours, coloured buttons or stitching, stripes or detailing.
No hats and sunglasses inside school.
No bandanas.
No flip flops and slip-on sandals without straps.
No mini-skirts, halter-tops, tank tops, muscle shirts, t-shirts with any slogan, see-through or low-cut blouses.
No clothing with tears/holes and over-sized clothing.
No clothing with logos, designs, print details.
Other Details
Dress code requirement for gym is navy blue and white.
There is no dress code requirement for student outerwear including jackets, snow pants, hats and gloves.
It is recommended that parents/guardians label all clothing pieces clearly with the student’s name.
Theme Days / Dress-Down Days
During the year, theme days will be planned. These days will be noted in the monthly school calendars at the beginning of every month so parents and students can be prepared. Students have the option of wearing the dress code or theme clothes. All other guidelines for what is not included should be followed. Students should be modestly dressed in keeping with our Catholic values.
Dress Code in TCDSB Schools
All Elementary schools within the jurisdiction of the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) shall adopt an Appropriate Dress Code or Uniform Dress Code.
All Secondary schools within the jurisdiction of the Board shall adopt a Uniform Dress Code.
Parents are encouraged to review the local dress code at their child’s school and to direct their questions to the principal of the school.
