This March Break, 24 students and 4 teachers from Dante Alighieri Academy Catholic Secondary School and St. Basil-the-Great College School experienced an incredible ten day excursion learning about the history and culture of the Netherlands and France.

From 18 degree sunny weather upon our arrival in Amsterdam, to cooler and windier conditions on the Northern Coast of France, the kids were always in positive spirits and ready for whatever each day offered.

Highlights included the Rijksmuseum and Ann Frank house in Amsterdam, the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Palace of Versailles in Paris and, of course, visiting Juno Beach where Canadian and Allied Forces landed on D Day nearly 81 years ago to begin to reclaim Europe from Hitler and the Nazis.
