The MPSJ community welcomed the Holodomor Educational Bus, offering students an impactful interactive lesson on the Holodomor Genocide. They learned about the deliberate starvation of 5 million people under Jozef Stalin and reflected on the importance of bearing witness to injustice, including the role of a New York Times journalist who concealed the atrocity.
The presentation concluded with students creating a collaborative multimedia project, which will be displayed in classrooms. Special thanks to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation for providing this meaningful learning opportunity.
