The Michael Power St. Joseph Varsity Cheerleading Team hosted its first ever day camp for elementary feeder schools to recruit future MPSJ cheerleaders on November 16, 2024 (Saturday)! The camp gave young athletes the chance to work one-on-one with MPSJ cheerleaders, learn a portion of our routine, acquire valuable skills and gain insight on what it means to be a cheerleader. The participants also had fun decorating personalized cheer bows to display their creativity. At the end of the day, they performed their routine for family and friends, showcasing their new skills!
The event was a great success, sparking excitement and enthusiasm for the MPSJ cheerleading program in the next generation!
