On November 4, 2024 (Monday), the top cross country runners from across the province traveled to Ottawa to compete at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association (OFSAA) championships. The course was challenging, with several hills, muddy sections, and rain. However, Aidan C., a Grade 9 student from Michael Power/St. Joseph High School, was able to push through and run to a commanding first place finish. This amazing result topped off what was an already record-breaking season for Aidan that saw him come in first in three other races, including the Toronto District Colleges Athletic Association (TDCAA) Championship race.

Congratulations to Aidan and the entire Michael Power/St. Joseph cross country team on their successful season. We cannot wait to see Aidan and the team build on these accomplishments next year!
