On October 25, 2024 (Friday), Michael Power - St. Joseph High School's Cross Country team competed in the Toronto District College Athletic Association (TDCAA) championship race at Sunnybrook Park. We are thrilled to say that all of our athletes ran very well, with many of them earning personal best times.
With all of our team members running their best, we were able to qualify 19 runners for the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) championships in Ottawa next weekend! This is one of the highest number of runners Power has qualified in years! Power is sending members of the Grade 9 Boys Team, Grade 10 Girls team and Sr. Girls team to OFSAA, as well as individuals from the Grade 9 girls and senior boys team.
We are so excited to see these athletes run against the best in the province. We also want to give a special congratulations to Aidan and Grace who each finished first in their respective races! Best of luck, everyone!
