Congratulations to Grade 11 student Tamara Jankovic from Michael Power - St. Joseph High School on placing Third in the TRADITIONAL Grades 11-12 category at the Ontario Provincial Finals of the 39th annual Concours d’art oratoire, which was held in early May 2024.
More than 120 students from grades 9-12 representing school boards across the province participated in the prestigious event at York University’s Glendon Campus. This event, recognized as the largest French Public-Speaking event in Canada, witnessed students passionately vying for scholarships and bursaries from universities and colleges.
A special thanks also goes out to the staff and families who were involved in supporting the growth of the French language at the school, ensuring the success of Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) students.
