The Father John Redmond Alpine Race Team delivered an impressive performance at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Championships, held at Osler Bluff Ski Club in Collingwood on February 24th and 25th. Competing against top talent from across the province, the team showcased skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

Monday’s Giant Slalom (GS) race brought ideal conditions, allowing the team to put down solid runs. Racers Roman, Graydon, Oliver, and Max all finished clean, earning a strong 9th place finish—just one point shy of an OFSAA recognition ribbon.

Tuesday’s Slalom race proved more challenging, but the team persevered. Special congratulations to Roman and Max for completing both runs without faults. Team captain Graydon played a key role in maintaining team morale and assisting with transportation, demonstrating exceptional leadership.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Mike Gadacz for his continued support and dedication to the team. Congratulations to all racers on a fantastic showing at OFSAA!
