On January 7, 2025 (Tuesday). the Wind Ensemble of Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School participated in a Band masterclass led by Mark Caswell. Mr. Caswell is the former artistic director of the Ontario Band Association Concert Band Festival (OBA).
Redmond students were led through various ensemble techniques and strategies with the aim of improving their overall sound, balance and blend, in preparation of their upcoming performance at the OBA Festival on February 12, 2025.
The Redmond Wind Ensemble would like to thank Mr. Caswell for sharing his expertise with enthusiasm and for taking the time after the masterclass to answer questions from students.
