The Key Club at Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School and Regional Arts Centre has organized a candy drive for Dr. Andrew Simone's Canadian Food for Children. All candy collected will be donated to underprivileged countries where the candy serves not only as a treat for children, but also helps them produce saliva that is necessary to break down food. Dr. Simone gives children and adults in these countries the hard candies before feeding them and administering medicine.
