Dress Code
The Divine Infant Catholic School is committed to high expectations of cleanliness, neatness, modesty and respect. Our dress code is as follows:
All students are required to dress neatly and appropriately, well-groomed and presentable for their age.
Motifs, pictures or words on items of clothing must not be offensive, derogatory, indecent or in any way distasteful.
Hats and other headgear, including bandanas, sunglasses or eyeshades are to be removed upon entering into the school building.
Hair bands, hair clips and earrings must be of reasonable size, inoffensive and tasteful.
The following types of clothing will not be allowed:
Tank tops
Halter tops
Mesh shirts
Cut-offs
Short shorts
Any garments that expose any part of the midriff.
The stated list of clothing is not exhaustive. The Principal, in conjunction with the school community, may amend the list from time to time upon notice to the students and the Catholic School Parent Council (CSPC).
Dress Code in TCDSB Schools
All Elementary schools within the jurisdiction of the Board shall adopt an Appropriate Dress Code or Uniform Dress Code.
Parents are encouraged to review the local dress code at their child’s school and to direct their questions to the principal of the school.
