St. Rose of Lima Catholic School recently welcomed back one of its own, Travis Ratnam, founder of the award-winning educational software Knowledgehook. As an alumnus of St. Rose of Lima, Travis returned to share his remarkable journey and encourage students.

As a young student, Travis struggled with math, often doubting his abilities. However, through hard work, support, and the right tools, he overcame his challenges and graduated at the top of his class. This transformative experience planted the seeds for what would later become Knowledgehook, a tool designed to make math engaging, accessible, and fun for learners everywhere.

During his visit, Travis spent time with students as they engaged with Knowledgehook’s interactive math games. Knowledgehook helps students develop problem-solving skills and build confidence in mathematics. Travis cheered the students on as they tackled challenges, emphasizing that success in math—or any subject—comes from a combination of effort, resilience, and belief in oneself.

The visit was both motivational and interactive. Students were excited to showcase their skills on Knowledgehook. Travis's story served as a full-circle moment, showing students that they can thrive at anything with the right tools.
